 We need reduce the problem of global warming down to energy and matter. Earth struggles to maintain certain ratio of energy to matter and thus temperature of the environment. This is facilitated by a principle and parallel and multiple world design on which she works. From industrial era we have been exponentially increasing the heat of the environment and with globalization we have even intruded into the night cycle, when she works to cool the environment. The consequence is sudden peaking and falling of two opposing forces unwinding and winding resulting in fire/wind and flood/earth  bound destructions. This is bound to  increase earth quakes and eventually leading to huge volcanic eruptions that can cause sudden ice ages, submerging many civilizations.
